Calendering

Calendering is a particular process of metallic carpentry and industrial production, which makes it possible to transform different sheets of metal material or profiles into conical or cylindrical shapes. Marchino has 2 rolling systems with 4 rollers for a maximum width of 3m up to a thickness of 15 mm for calendering thick sheets. The calendering machineries which are used for calendering metal sheets are arranged in such a way that the sheet of metal sheet can pass between the four rollers and therefore follow a circular type trajectory; whose radius of curvature is automatically adjusted and acts on the mutual position of the rollers.
